This beautiful handmade ornament was created by Frank Amigo. It is wood, turned on a lathe. When I worked at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, we often featured the work of woodturners, and I purchased this ornament from an exhibit there in 1995. A similar ornament by Frank was featured on the White House Christmas tree around that time.
